For these so-called "cold cut" a gas mixture is used which allows to cut at low temperatures and thus has a higher degree of precision and delicacy of the cut itself. It can be cut sheets with a thickness of 2/3 mm to 35/40 mm. The main characteristics of this system are a high cutting speed (and thus reducing costs) and a high quality of the cut itself.

This technology uses the high concentration of a monochromatic beam in a tiny point of the material. This beam, wich is mixed with a gas, produces a heating effect that results in a perpendicular and very precise cut. This tecnology is used to cut steel sheets and alloy with thickness from 1 mm to a maximum of about 20 mm.
